Guidelines for submitting manuscripts to Journal of Interdisciplinary Education
Manuscript Submission
Format: Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word format via the journal’s online submission system or email. Include all figures, tables, and supplementary materials in high-resolution (.TIFF, .JPEG, or .PNG).
Cover Letter: Must explain the manuscript’s significance, its interdisciplinary nature, confirm originality, and state that it is not under review elsewhere.
Manuscript Structure
Title Page: Include a concise title, author names, affiliations, ORCID iDs (if available), and corresponding author contact information.
Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing the purpose, methods, key findings, and educational implications.
Keywords: 4–6 keywords that reflect the interdisciplinary aspects of the study.
Main Body: Should typically include Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
References: Use APA 7th edition citation style.
Tables & Figures: Numbered sequentially with clear titles and legends. All must be cited in the text.
Ethics & Disclosure
Ethics Statement: Required for studies involving human participants. Include institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee approval.
Conflicts of Interest: All authors must declare any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research.
Data Availability: Authors are encouraged to share datasets where appropriate.
Review Process
Peer Review: Double-blind peer review by experts in education and related disciplines. Initial feedback is usually provided within 4–6 weeks.
Revisions: Authors are expected to address reviewer comments and resubmit within 2–3 weeks.
Final Decision: The editorial board makes the final decision based on reviewer recommendations.
